Tammy Rader

Marcy, sorry for misspelling your name. My girl is just now entering middle school. I'll leave it up to the experts out there with the teenagers to offer up advice. Congrats on your 20 yr. marriage, that is wonderful.

I want to say thank you for informing us about Darren and his family. I will most certainly include them in my prayers.

Tammy

Hey everyone! I had no idea until today that this thing was up and running....I have had a few people ask me today if I have been on so here I am!

Looks like everyone is doing great. I can't wait to see everyone.

Che called me today to tell me goodbye. He made me promise to get alot of pictures and to drink a crown and coke for him. I say we do a group "cheers" to Che and get a picture of it. He would love it.

Tammy, you should definitely get the tat. I got my latest one a few weeks ago and would be more than happy to go with you to get another one. They are quite addictive.

Trent, Ray and Tammy....did you have any idea you were so loved? Wow! To have that kind of adoration.....

Can't wait to catch up with everyone.

Love me, Miss me,

Autumn

Has anyone seen the movie "College Road Trip"? I just watched that with my daughter. I laughed and cried.

My daughter just fixed breakfast for herself - mac and cheese! She said "that's the good thing about Saturdays." I just shake my head. Kids....I do remember liking cold pizza for breakfast so I cant say much..:)

im sorry, I cant get involved with politics. I do vote. I havent kept up much with each candidate. I need to investigate, like Marcy said. Half of it goes over my head!

Dawn - I know there are quite a few of us here. Amazing how we have not run into one another at one time or another. How long you been here? I have been here since 1997. I LOVE IT!!!! I am about 35 - 45 minutes from you. I family that live in McKinney, we will have to get together sometime.

Tammy/Marcy- Girls are harder than boys. My 2 oldest are girls and my youngest is the boy. They are harder to buy for, more opinonated, moody, crazy, demanding, etc. But I can relate because they are a lot like me. That is why we clash. One thing I have found that works is "date night." All of my children are different and don't really want to do the same thing all the time, so I created date night. Once a month I will do something with them individually that they want to do. My son always wants to end up at Game Stop but the girls want dinner and an activity. It helps to bond and it creates an atmosphere to have an open conversation with just the 2 of us (whichever 2 it is). My middle daughter is really a mini-me so she needs that time for real. So it is easier when I have to discipline or just talk about something. Just a suggestion...

I will not be at the reunion but photo shop one of my pictures in on the group shot...hehehehehe I want to be included somehow.

I will definitely be praying for Darren and his family.

Oh yea... I am writing my name in on the ballot this election. I am not satisfied with anybody this go around. So I figured I would be president. WHAT??? You can be too. :\)

Ok let me tell you life in a small town community is sooo different. The big rivalry football game was last night Piedmont against Deer Creek. It was nice to see so much of the community come to the game even if they did not have a family member on the football team or in marching band. Then today was Founder's Day and again it is a big deal for the people who live here to get out and socialize. I really like that. We have not lived here long but I hope we get to be like some of the older couples we saw today that have known their "neighbors" for half their lives.

Looks like Darren's services are Monday at 10, but I still don't know where.

Dawn thanks for the advice about spending designated quality time with each of your children. Problem is after I am with her for about 5 minutes I am ready to throttle her- not really, well not all the time anyway.

Lesley Morton (Davis)

Laura, I agree you don't need a boob job. You are beautiful just the way you are. However, you can have some of mine, they just get in the way. Do you need some booty too? I still have plenty >Lol.

It also frightens me that my two daughters (9 and 12) are maturing just as I did at a rather early age. My husband said that he's getting a gun >Lol.

Tammy, the second time around is the bomb. We live and we learn. I married my middle school sweetheart, our families have known each other forever. It was his first marriage and his first child at 30 years old. So, I didn't have to deal with no baby momma drama (ha,ha). He is also a wonderful stepdad to the older two. It's crazy because him and my Ex-husband gets along great, which is a blessing for our children sake. All kidding aside, I believe that in order for a marriage or relationship to truly work you have to find that special person that is equally yolked, share your same moral values, and know the true meaning of commitment. However you should date, but just don't bring them home to meet the kids until you know that they're worthy of it.

Chris, I'm still looking at the issues at hand and what each party is putting on the table. My husband and I were talking, and I told him although we are registered Democrats (Conservative) it is our moral obligation to vote for the candidate that shares our same beliefs because we are Christians first. So with that being said, I know I will be led to vote for what's right.

OH gosh...so many things going on for everyone and at the age that we are all going bonkers... You single dad's I give you sooooooooo many props for doing so and get an extra hug and kiss from me too. More power to you as you do need it and will need more when the girls turn teenagers. Personally I prefer boys, they are easier to deal with. I have 2 step daughters that stay mostly with their mom which is kinda nice and now that they are almost 18 and 14 1/2 I don't have to retrain them when they come over to our house to relearn our rules. But to be blunt girls are bitches...really. I love them but dang....

I am going to miss Che even more since he is going to Iraq and along with everyone else, my thoughts, love and prayers to him and his family.

I don't remember Mr. Menge..sorry. Autumn told me about him and mayber I will remember when I see a picture of him.

I feel so old sometimes when I don't remember certain folks. Like I told Autumn since I haven't been in the loop and since I have not been in the area in so long I have missed out on a lot.

I seriously doubt I will be able to bring my most wonderful husband to the reunion that I love to talk about so much as he is a Deputy Sheriff and good little SOB hurricane IKE the SOB is pretty much heading straight for us at this time and if he does really come this way my husband will have to work...which means I will be all by myself:( But I will be there to have some fun any way and have some crown and coke for Che Baby!.

Huggs and kisses to alll....looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion....

You guys talking about boobs? Gain some weight that will give you some boobs! LOL That is what happened to me. As you all may remember I was so skinny I looked anorexic. Well add a good 70lbs to what you remember and that is what you got now! HA HA!

As for the little one discussing who they like and who they don't...I got a good one for you. My son who is now 19, was in kindegarten and came home and told me that he had sex with his girlfriend. I had a heart attack and had to sit down and ask him exactly what did he mean. He said that he kissed her on the cheek. WHEEWWWWWWWWWWWW.....that was a rough say several hours...I think that I am still trying to get over that one!

Shannon Edwards (McCool)

Reva- I know what you mean. Paula stole my best friend. So, I started hanging out with Kim Cox and Tish Kaufman. (I still had fun.)

Tammy- I have a tattoo on my ankle of a four leaf clover. It hurt REALLY bad. It also didn't help that the girl was new at tattooing and it took her nearly an hour to complete the one inch square.

I had a crush on Chris.

09/06/08 05:28 PM #181

Tammy Rader

Teresa - I'm not bringing mine either!! girl, you crack me up. You were skinny in hs.

Lesley, heehhee, boobs and butts! :) ur crazy:) that's why I luv ya! (Marcy calm down):)lol

2nd time the bomb huh? Middle school sweetheart? Where did you go to MS? I went to taft, didnt you? Cant wait then. I agree with being equally yoked. 1st time around, not so. It means the world to me to have that next time. As for voting, I agree with your comment: Christian first. Sometimes, the things in life that seem so confusing and blurry, we just have to give them to God and let Him show us the direction, just like this election. Pray for wisdom to make the right decision.

Shannon, Shannon, we had some crazy times at Taft, huh? Remember Tony White, Mark Calderon, Paul Whitehead..even Eric Berumen...hmmmm. fun times:) I almost got kicked off cheerleading from ditching and walking to your house, while your sister called in for both of us! how dumb was that? Oh and sneaking out of the building to go with your sister to a Chry-slur(NWC) party. That was my 1st steps into NWC, that day. We were only in 8th grade. Oh and TeePee'ng, you started that! See, you just got me started on a soon to be "wilder streak" with Paula! I blame you!:)I was innocent until then... I LOVE YOU, You will always be a best friend to me..........:)

Tammy Rader

Oh and Chris, did you know you were so liked back in HS? Looks like you are in the running with Trent and Ray!

Why was everyone so shy back then!? Dang it if you want it, you gotta go for it! Although I have been called "pretty aggressive." Don't know if that's good or bad sometimes. I can get things done, but with men..... I'm not so sure....I guess I wont knock it,..... it just weeds out the weinies! ha! Be myself, right?!!Its too late for change now!:)

09/06/08 06:21 PM #183

Teresa Harmon (Wilkie)

You go girl Ms. Tammy you go....nothing wrong about being to agressive...some men actually like that take charge kinda attitude.!!! Glad I can make you laugh

Leslie- if you really want to get rid of some boob and but I will be 1st in line to get more booty I might even take a little more booby to! I would to have a more rounded ghetto onion vs wanna be bubble butt!!! Ha ha

Oh and Ms. Tammy, go get that damn tattoo honey. You know you really want to go for it...it is all good....

09/06/08 07:41 PM #184

Autumn Bordwine (Taylor)

I seriously think we need to have a group tattoo session. Getting them is cool, just pick a spot that won't "spread" later.

FYI, Darren's funeral is Moday at 10am at Messiah Lutheran Church in OKC. He is being buried in Yukon next to his mother. That is cool. Just keep praying for Robin and the kids. She is NWC alumni also. She was a couple of years younger than us. They dated in high school and later got married.

Marcy.....you are doing a good job with Emily. Quit beating yourself up. Let me know when she has home games. I want to come and watch her march in the band. I love that kid.

I just went to my first Notre Dame game as an employee and let me say, Dang I love my job. It's my contract to say that Notre Dame will go undefeated and they are the greatest team ever since the Disciples or until they play OU. Green plaid jacket and gold pants in 75 degree weather, man I am a sell out

Ray Owens

Also I thought the Irish thing was just a nickname but these are some seriously drinking people up here and I am not judging and I know my fair share of "still in development" preachers but even the faculty and priests were putting it down, the mixer tonight in hospitality village will be something.

09/06/08 09:04 PM #189

Rhonda Carr (Wood)

Ray..you sell out...it is crimson and creme ALWAYS...
Seriously, it sounds like a blast I think I would go too.

OU did great today.. we are listening to the OSU game our boy from Mustang Josh Cooper is playing tobight. He is trying to talk Christian to come up and play at Stillwater.. I am not crazy about the idea because we all know what kind of town Stillwater is...PARTY..all the time.
Looking forward to seeing you Ray.

Does anyone have any good pictures from our Jr prom or Christmas dance?????

09/06/08 09:31 PM #190

Marcy Isbell (Watts)

Thanks Autumn for the boost of confidence with Emily. You know the scoop.

Ray- how funny are you. My sister was married to an Irish Catholic (not going to name names here so not not offend) so I know all about it.

09/06/08 09:39 PM #191

Tammy Rader

Tammy, I agree hmmmmm 4 times for those guys. I did go to Taft, but my middle school sweetheart went to Jackson middle school.

It seems like every girl at one point had a little crush on Mr. Chris Blevins (ha,ha), especially all of us that went to middle school and high school together. He just had that type of personality along with the looks. I always thought of Chris, the Oak brothers, Sam Watters and Mark Calderon as being my brothers.

Man, those were the days. We were all so close.

This is great, every time I log in I have to go back a page.

I agree, no politics & no religion, but more alcoholics and more stoners, stories are more interesting........ha! Dawn, if you can make taxes disappear, I will vote for you.

Ray, you are so cute, every time I think of you I remember your cool walk. You had a cool walk.

Sorry girls, I cannot relate to the big boobs, I was not blessed. I am curious to know if anyone experienced any type of cosmetic surgery? Hum?

I have never been married so I do not know what it is like the 2nd time around, but I am on my 5th car, I keep telling myself, this will be the one. Does that count?
