Hi batchmates. Last September 26, 2009, the small group of batchmates here in California gathered in Temecula to talk more about the reunion. However, after that meeting, we learned of the calamities that struck the Philippines. It was devastating on tv so I'm sure it's even worse in reality. Due to this, I called the key people organizing this reunion and asked their input as to whether it is appropriate for us to go on with the reunion this year after everything that's happened. We all came to a general consensus that it would be insensitive of us to be celebrating and using our resources for the reunion when so much grief and hardship has engulfed the country. As such, we decided that we will postpone our reunion next year. As for the exact date, here are the possible dates. It will be a 3-day affair, but we will only be using the OCNHS facility on the first day (for registration & initial gathering). December 27-29, 2010 is the first date to consider or we can also opt to do it before Christmas (Dec. 17-19, 2010). A third option is sometime during the summer break here in the US which falls between mid June to early August. I need input on this so I can present it to people who are planning to attend. Please post your messages ASAP. thanks so much...we will have a great walk to memory lane on our reunion...whenever it will be!
