After graduating college in 1987, I got married to my husband Roy. I worked at Children's Hospital in the NICU for about 2 years. Before I had my son Adam, I started a job at a company called Pedi Medical setting up medical euipment in homes for children and also doing IV therapy. My daughter,Kara was born 17 months after her brother. I continued to work, but at a different company doing infusion therapy in homes all over Omaha, Lincoln and Council Bluffs. I also did some workman's Comp cases with a company out of Kansas City. After leaving both those jobs I started working for Bergan Family Home Care(Alegent Home Health) doing their after hours Hospice and Homecare. I worked there for about 6 years. My son Kyle was born in 1995. Right now I am at Nebraska Medical Center and have been for ten years doing after hours triage 1 evening a week and wellness calls two days during the week. I now have a Senior, Adam who will graduate from Gross in May. Kara is a Junior at Gross. Kyle is in 6th grade, and he is talking about going to Gross too.
