He was an amazing person and friend. One of my funniest memories was we were playing Central during our Senior year in Football and Larry Station was running the ball on offense. I saw Larry receive the ball and I said to myself, dang I have to tackle this dude. Well, I was there and made contact with him but I closed my eyes. I had a leg and I just held on to that leg. All of sudden, I hear a voice say, "John, let go of my leg". It was my dear friend saying that. Yes we tackled Larry but I had a great laugh from that one.
I remember Paul too, haven't seen him since we graduated. What is going on we are all too young to be passing. This saddens me. Lisa Rickers Buelt 1981
