I was friends with Dyrck since grade school. I have so many fond memories of him. I was able to meet Dyrck with his wife shortly before his diagnosis. He had not changed- his smile, his humor, his kind eyes- we laughed so hard together. His wife is so nice and beautiful. He accomplished so much in his life time. I am proud to have been his friend.
