Alvin passed away from pulimnary fibrosis. He was a resident of Omaha and is survived by wife Tanya Avant Sons: Al Clark LaMar Avant Daughter: Christina

Upon graduation Al went to the Navy and server two tours in Vietnam. After returning from the Navy Al worked two full-time jobs, one for his dad's business, and for the United States Social Security Administration. Al, received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska @ Omaha. He was an excellent provider, husband father, friend, , grandfather. He had a sense of humor that would make you smile even if you weren't having a good day. He was a master chef when it came to the grill and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. Al is missed by all who knew him. Awesome person, father, grandpa, husband. If you knew him you already know what a special human being he was.
