Ed retired from the Omaha Police Department after 29 years of service. He checked ID’s for many years at the Ranch Bowl and was an avid golfer.

Preceded in death by wife Connie, parents Cye and Jessie

Survived by: Daughter Chris (Tim) Miklas; Grandchildren: Jason (Amy) Ruddick, Jennifer (Andrew) Marriott, Jacquie (David) Yeoman, Joselyn Miklas, Josanna Miklas; Great Grandchildren: Kendra, Desiree, Hendrix, Noah, Maxwell, Evelyn; Former son-in-law Bob Ruddick; Nephew Kevin Christiansen and his family; Many other relatives & friends


Celebration of Ed’s Life: Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at 10:30am at Divine Shepherd Lutheran Church (150 & Q St.)

Visitation: Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 from 5-8:00pm at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel)

Interment: Omaha National Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be used in Edward’s memory at a later date
