Willie Frank Marshall was born on April 30, 1938 in Tunnel Springs, AL to Clinton & Carrie Marshall. He attended public schools in Escambia County and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School with the class of 1955. He pursued undergraduate studies at the historical Tuskegee Institute. In 1959 he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree. He further matriculated at Omaha Nebraska University for graduate studies meriting the Master of Science Degree in Educational Administration.
Blessed with the memories of his life and love are his precious, caring and genteel wife, C. Grace Marshall, two loving daughters, Athena (Adam) Watts and Kaidra Marshall; two stepchildren, Antoine (Sylvia) Knight and Leslie (Kevin) Savage; grandchildren,William Marshall, Clinton Marshall, Brandy Odom and Dakolby Watts, one great grandchild, Damarion Marshall and a host of family and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Greater Little Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie D. Wesley, III officiating.
