Cleo D. Moore

January 2, 1927 - February 17, 2019

Remembering Cleo D. Moore Born on Jan 2, 1927, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Cleo moved with her parents at a young age to Omaha, NE where she was a longtime resident. She graduated with honors from Tech High School. Cleo was a graphic artist specializing in hand lettering and calligraphy. She worked for several Omaha department stores and sign companies, eventually building her own successful graphics business until retirement. Over the years Cleo created a family: sharing her life for 33 years with Bette Owen Hays, creating a large community of devoted friends, making a home for many dogs and providing for animals living outside her back door. She was an active member of MCC of Omaha. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, Feb. 23rd at 10:30am at Metropolitan Community Church, 819 S. 22nd St. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cleo's memory to the Nebraska Humane Society.
