Obituary for Theresa Hodges Hyde

Theresa Hyde returned to her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. She was 48 years old. Theresa fought a heroic fight against cancer for over 8 years. She passed away surrounded by her family at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Theresa was born to Joseph and Ireta Hodges on March 10, 1963, in Burley, Idaho. She graduated from Ontario High School and attended BYU Idaho. Theresa was crazy about a man named Shane Hyde. The two were married in the Logan LDS Temple on September 29, 1982. She was a valiant member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was exceptional, as described by others: “I’ve never met someone who cared so much about everyone else, who had so much strength, so much love and passion, and so much desire to do what is right.” “If everyone had the love, faith, and demeanor of this beautiful woman the world would be a heaven on earth.” “What a true example of Christ-what we should be and how we should live our lives.” “I was blessed to photograph such a beautiful family. Even though it was only a few hours, Theresa, you have inspired me with your courage, strength, love of life, family and friends. You, and that day, will remain the highlight of my career. Rest in peace beautiful lady.” Theresa is survived by her husband: Shane Hyde, her four children: Chantel (Luke) Robinson, Britney (Joe)Nattress, Derek (Jessica) Hyde, and Alden Hyde (currently serving in the Australia Adelaide Mission), her five grandchildren: Connor, Tyson, Chloee, Brielle, and Corbin, her parents: Joseph and Ireta Hodges, and her four brothers and two sisters. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 13, from 4-8 p.m. A viewing will also be held Saturday, January 14, from 9-10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral services at 11a.m. All events to be held at the LDS church building at 5850 S. 2575 W. Roy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Theresa Hyde memorial account at American First Credit Union. Internment in the Roy City Cemetery. 

Obituary for Paul Timms Ackerman - Paul Ackerman, 49, of Nampa, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011. He was born August 27, 1962 in Bellevue, Washington born to Thomas Ackerman and Donna Gardner Ackerman. He was the third of three children. The family later moved to Ontario, Oregon where both of his parents were born. 

Paul graduated from Ontario High School in 1981. He attended college at SOSC in Ashland, Oregon and EOSC in LaGrande, Oregon where he studied Theatre Construction and Business. 
Paul worked in the commercial construction industry as a Journeyman Carpenter in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. He had much pride in his work and loved showing friends and family the buildings and bridges he helped build. 
Paul married Michelle Matthews, September 13, 2006 where they resided in Nampa. Paul was a great lover of the outdoors. He loved being a granddad and looked forward to teaching his grandson Blake how to fish and how to tell those “adventure” stories. 
Paul is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ackerman. He is survived by his mother, Donna, his wife Michelle and her children James Yielding, Heather Yielding(Chris Thompson), his grandson Blake Yielding, brother Brandt (Anda) Ackerman, sister JoanAnn (Rusty) Bunn, nephew Jared Ackerman, Cousin Tim Bement, dear friends Richard Deszo and Kieth Hoffman who were all more like his brothers. Also two beloved nieces Coreen and Stephanie Osley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 
Paul had an untimely death. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him so much. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Paul, to the Ackerman family account at any Wells Fargo Bank. 
A memorial service will be held at St. Marks Catholic Church 7960 Northview, Boise ID. Tuesday October 4, at 11:00 A.M. Following the service there will be an open house starting at 4:00 at Brandt and Anda Ackerman’s at 4685 Bloom, Boise ID. If you need directions please call 384-9063 or 941-1110.
