School Story:
Favorite Story? Without a doubt the day I FORGOT my shoes. Yes! I really forgot to wear shoes to school. Why are you looking so shocked...don't you know me at all? Anyway, I had to borrow shoes from Danielle Lewis who THANKFULLY had her band shoes in her (shared) locker; nevermind the fact that she wears an eight 1/2 and I'm a ten ALL DAY LONG. Anyway, I digress, Danielle was in the habit of tying her shoes together by the shoestrings and the next "block" was starting and ofcourse I didn't have anymore tardies before a free trip to my second home: I.S.S! Soooo, I put the shoes on either foot WITHOUT untying the conjoined Nikes. Well, as you can imagine, walking down Main Street with a couple of THE most obnoxious guys in the world, I fell. Hard. And my "mesh" backpack, chalked full of ALL my books (b/c remember, I had no locker), BUSTED me in the back of the head making the fall just THAT much uglier! It was AWFUL!
I don't know if it's one those stories where you "had to be there", but buddy I know you wished you had! It was HILARIOUS!!! I was laughing WAY to hard to be concerned about shame! If I had it to do over... I wouldn't change a THING!! =D. At this time I'd like to thank everyone who contributed towards the funniest experience of my life: Emily, for rushing me that morning and therefore making me forget my foot wear in the 1st place; Danielle, for tying those shoestrings together, could'nve done it w/out you Girl!; and Ryan Sims and Marc Gary for pointing AND laughing as I lay helpless on the tile of the Bulldog Cafe'.
Laughter really is the best medicine so LOL!
