I graduated from Southern University in 1987 (GO Jags) and I also got married in December of '87. I moved to Houston in '87 and started teaching.
Life has been good! God has blessed us with 2 wonderful children. My son and daughter are attending Texas Southern Univ. on Full Academic Scholarships (Dad's Alma Mater). Our home is empty now!! I miss having them here; but it's there time now. I plan to pick up a hobby, travel, and enjoy life!

School Story:

I have so many fond memories of my senior year I would not know where to begin. What I will say, and want eveyone to know is that I enjoyed spending time with everyone. We were and truly are a RARE class and there will never be another like us!

Wow...My Friend Byron.... Byron had a unique gift....the gift of bringing those who came in contact with him Joy and Laughter. He knew how to lift you up when you were down with some kind of joke or just saying something crazy. He also had the ability to remind you of how good God is. I am so grateful that our paths crossed again at our 50th Class birthday party. Same Byron...he came in and had everyone laughing. Rufus I too remember the touching, soul stirring way he sang GOD IS..he promised to sing it for me, but time didn't allow it to be so. James..I sent a message at 10:32 looking for him that night. Byron, my dear friend you were loved by so many and will be sorely missed by all. Everytime I hear God Is...I will know you are saying hello. I miss you my friend. Until we meet on the other side...Love you 4lfye...you know that's how someone would end the chat!
