Deborah Ashton Walker

Left School 1980, Joined the Army 1981, served 15yrs - Brisbane & Canberra, Bachelor of Social Science in welfare - worked as Social Worker in Human Services - Army, resigned from Army 1996, moved to Port Macquarie - TAFE, Diploma in Child Care, Diploma in Disabilities - Joined ACES (Disability Service 1997) moved on to Dept of Human Services - Disabilities 2002 - Currently a Manager in a Group Home for Adults with Disabilities.
Throughout this I have 3 great children, 3 grandchildren - Cady, Isabel and Ella.

Wow it's 2013 & I now have 8 grand children & 1 more due in a week. My daughter Amy has Cady 8, Isabel 5, then married this year to Luke who had Bray 12, tilly 8 & Brodi 6 with a little girl due in 1 week - called Ashtyn.
My son andrew has Ella 3, Diesel 18 months & Archie 4 months old.
My daughter Maddie is career minded, 19 & no kiddies yet but no hubby yet either.

I will never forget the day myself, Kim Berryman and Tina Rowlands wagged school for the day. We had so much fun. BUT when i got home wow did i cop it, mum belted me from one end of the house to the other end and i had bruises coming up 1 week later. Its funny now as it was a great time, but wow did it hurt and mum grounded me too, that was the worst as there was no friends no phone and i had to be inside as soon as school finished. lol I would do it all again.

I finally got in touch with Kim Berryman, wat a blast from the past.
I also have rekindled my great friendship with Tina and love catching up with her when I'm in Orange.
