I remember working with Rusty (& a few others) with Mr. Pierce in the 8th grade at OP Middle School. We cleaned up the aluminum can recycling (and boy did those things SMELL). After we had all gone home & cleaned up, we met at Sonny's BBQ on Kingsley & ENJOYED a BBQ feast.
Rusty also "did" a year or 2 in the NJROTC (I was in it for all 4 years).

I remember Rusty always laughing and joking around. He always made me smile. He was a great guy.

I remember a good friend. Blond, curly hair and always had a smile on his face. I was sad to see on this website that Rusty had passed away (as well as the others).

I just found this website New Years Day 2011-and just discovered Rusty is no longer with us. We were High School Sweethearts-he was my first love-one of the sweetest, nicest guys I've ever known. He always had a smile on his face and could always make me laugh-we attended the Homecoming Dance one year-I still have the pictures. I am truly devastated to hear of his passing-he was such a great guy. I remember running into him years later in Orange Park after I had graduated from The University of Florida and it was like we had never split up-he was one of my best friends-I will always hold a special place in my heart for him-my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends--xxooo....
