School Story:
My school story is the same as most everyone else's who started the first grade at St. Marys. I am sure we will relive and remember those days when we get together. First grade in the old church, then Mrs Tilleys house. Then the old white building and on to Bob Hall Road. There is one major event for me that I get to savor alone... When I was going to school in the old White Building, I always wanted to tear it up. As an adult, I did it! When the building was no longer able to be used, I helped the Parish out by renting some equipment and wrecking the old school. I had a crane with a big Iron ball and I beat on that old school until it crumbled down. I do have to admit, everything about that school was tough including the building, but like all of you, no challenge is too big. We came, We endured, and We completed. Most of you know that I went to the 11th and 12th grades at West Orange (Go Chiefs) but I was shaped with you by the Nuns and lay teachers at St Mary's ( Go Hornets) Does anyone remember Mr Bates? We need to try to list all our teachers and get pictures if possible. That would be great!
