Samantha Oliver

Since graduating in 1997, I completed my degree at VCU in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Juvenile Delinquency in 2003. I also completed a Paramedical program at the MCV. I fell madly in love with a Naval Officer and moved to the Hampton-Roads area of Va in 2004. Although we are not together, many blessings came with me relocating from Richmond to Hampton-Roads: I work for an excellent healthcare system as a Critical Paramedic on the Specialized Treament and Transport team, I was able to complete the remainder of my pre-requisites for nursing school free of charge with books free of charge, I was accepted into a very competitive nursing school, Old Dominion University which I am attending on scholarship as well, and I met a wonderful gentleman I have been with for almost 2 years. You never know what God may have in store for you in the future.

I remember I was in Algebra 1 class in high school passing notes to my friend and the teacher caught me and tried to take the note away from me and I stuffed it down in my bra and had to beg and plead with her not to write me up cause my parents would have scolded me. The worst part was parent/treacher conference was 3 days away! I got scolded anyway!
