As we embark on a new era at SCSU, we have to continue to support the legacy that is near and dear to our hearts. In order to reach our goal, we must start preparing NOW. We have laid out a thrifty payment plan and if our entire class of 500+ contributes, we will have no problems meeting and exceeding our goal of $30,000.00.
I challenge you to make the class of 1994 a part of your monthly budget. Starting NOW, we will have 4 months to reach and exceed our goal of $30,000.00. We are asking each class member to make a commitment of $1000.00 towards our “Alma Mater”. Once our gift has been presented to the University during Homecoming 2009, we will disburse the funds based upon the desire of the class. We encourage you to earmark a minimum of $600.00 to the Alumni Heritage Endowment Fund. This fund has been established to ensure that we are able to provide scholarship opportunities for those students that are in need of financial assistance. It also serves as a means for us to continue to provide the very best faculty available.
We have begun to explore our activities for Homecoming 2009. Once we have solidified the activities we will determine what the registration costs will be.
How to make you class contribution: there are a number of ways you can make this happen: (1) you can make a one-time tax-deductible contribution of $1000.00 to the class; or (2) you can pay $100.00 per month for 10 months. Whatever method and amount that is best for you will be greatly appreciated to help us meet our goal of $ 30,000.00 so that we can be counted and present this amazing gift at Homecoming 2009.
