Larry W. Wolfinger, 60, of Allentown, died Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Ellen Sherer. They observed their 8th wedding anniversary on June 7. Born in Quakertown. He was the son of Willard and Lorraine (Fender) Wolfinger of Ballietsville. He graduated from Parkland High School Class of 1969. He was a crossing guard for the City of Allentown. Prior, He worked in mechanical maintenance for HCSC, Allentown. He was of the Lutheran Faith. He served as past president at Liberty Fire Co. #5 Social Club, Allentown and was a member of Cetronia Fire Co. #1. Survivors: Along with wife and parents; son, Bryan Wolfinger, of Philadelphia.
