I remember Marie from chorus in 8th grade. When she died I had to wonder why some people got sick for no reason of their own, and why cancer would kill so quickly. She was a really nice person.
I've thought of Marie frequently over the tears with sadness that she passed so young. Because our last names were similar we sat close together in some classes. She was a warm and kind person
Since we sat in alphabetical order, I also was close to Marie. Remember her smile and being very friendly. Still remember going to the church in Neffs for her funeral and some of the music that she selected for the very sad occasion. R.I.P. Marie Heintzleman
I didn't know Marie very well, but I did know her and remember when she passed away...to think how young she was and how talented she was (musical) to become so ill like that. Her father was our family physician. He had his office right in their home in Neffs. Her memory still lives long at Parkland!
