I know its a tired expression but when god made Margie the mold broke. Webster needs to re-edit its dictionary and include her under the definitions of sweet and kind.
Margie and I went separate paths after high school graduation. However, we met up several years later (1978-79) at Penn State University in the Nutrition Program--Margie was finishing up her Master's Degree while I was just beginning. We also discovered that our undergraduate degrees were both in Home Economics Education (now named Family & Consumer Sciences). We loved everything about food, for both health and enjoyment. It truly is a small world, and I'm glad crossed paths again. Yes, she had a gentle heart. ---Brenda Bachman Daelhousen
