Harry Mericle (1970)

first met jim study hall in 7th grade. has been a friend for life. so sad to see him go at such a young age.

Terry Dengler (1970)

Jim was a great guy, I remember our mini drag races in front of Horwith's gas station; him in his '57 Chevy and me in my dad's Chevy Pickup.

Raymond Geiger (1970)

James E. Blewitt, Jr. 64 of Germansville died Sunday December 18, 2016 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Marie (Hoppes) Anderson, who died in 2009. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of James E. Blewitt, Sr. of Germansville and the late Edna A. (Steward) Blewitt. Jim worked as a truck driver for George Husack Trucking. Prior to that, he worked in the family business, Fuel Injector Sales & Service of Allentown. An auto enthusiast, Jim was a member of numerous car clubs throughout the area. Survivors: Father, Son; James E. Blewitt, III of Allentown. Brother; Richard A. Blewitt and wife Laurie of Germansville. 3 nephews. Services: Calling period Thursday December 22, 2016, 5-7pm at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second Street, Slatington. Service will be private, at convenience of the family. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2004 Lehigh St, Allentown PA 18103.

Jan Ackerman (Christman) (1970)

Nobody told me Jim passed away.  He bought our place in Slatington back in 1984.  This helped my family move to Florida.  He was a good friend.  I didn't realize we weren't getting Christmas cards because he was gone.  Too young.  This is what happens when people loose touch.  I've been out of touch for at least a decade.  Jim is surely missed.  RIP,  jan
