Ed Rivera passed away on March 21, 2023, after a long illness. He was born in Hidalgo, Texas, on April 6, 1942, to Rev. Abraham and Rafaela (Izaguirre) Rivera. In 1954, Ed's family moved to Ohio, where he attended the Oregon Schools. After graduating from Clay High School, Ed proudly served his country in the U.S. Army (Vietnam). Upon his return from active duty, he attended Davis Business College and succeeded to a career position with the U.S. Postal Department in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he retired.

Ed's quiet disposition masked a keen sense of humor. To his nieces and nephews, he was "Uncle Eddie," whose visits were always anticipated, because "He brought the fun!"

Ed is survived by his wife, Margie; sons, Dereck, E.J., Michael, and Dominique; and daughters, Kelly, Kory, and Krystal. Ed left a lasting legacy of devotion to family in the hearts of all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
