I remember the day that John passed away, it was Senior skip day at the end of the year 1981. He was playing frisbee in the parking lot at the Burger Chef and had a heart attack as I recall. What a sad time, he was such a kind person and a very good friend. He is certainly thought of often. Rest in Peace John!
I was there also at the Burger Chef when the shocking incident happened. It was, for me a wake up call about the unpredictablility of life just as I was about to enter the big world upon graduation. It's been 30 years and the memories are still so fresh. Rest in peace John!
