Sadly, Marilyn died of cancer, but I don't know what kind. I saw her on a mobility scooter in Publix with some of her family a few months before she died. Although she looked quite frail, she was joyful and had a positive attitude.
I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn at Dover Shores Elementary School, where she was a paraprofessional. She was always friendly and helpful to me, as I was adjusting to a new school. Unfortunately, I didn't recognize our ORHS '67 connection until she was gone.
