So sorry to hear of Joans passing. I will never forget, I believe it was around 1976 I was sitting in a Pizza Hut in Andalusia, Alabama with my wife. (happend to be where I was born). Population of the city, maybe 5,000. In the door comes Joan, of all people. I would have never expected anyone to walk in that I knew from Oak Ridge, and or Valencia or even Florida for that matter, or to even be able to find their way to Andalusia, Al. Her husband had been transferred to Andalusia. It was such a delight to see her that day, she was such a sight for sore eyes and for being homesick for Orlando. We will all miss you Joan.

RIP to a sweet gal from Oak Ridge. I remember playing guitar for Joan back around 1969 or 70 at the Tupperware Auditorium for the Miss Orlando Pageant. She had a voice as sweet as her personality. I'll play "You Get a Line, I'll get a Pole" in remembrance.
