From 1990 to 2000 I lived in Stockton California. In 2000 I came home to take care of my mother and since there was an opening in the company I worked for I applied for the position and moved back to Oroville.
the first 23 years were spent raising kids and being a mom and housewife. I worked part time in the summer. Unfortunately my marrige did not work out and that is when I moved to Stockton and tried my hand at several career oportunities that came available. I have since been employed with the same company for 15 years now.
As I said before, I have kids, grandkids and now great grandkids and they all keep this grandma hopping. I love them to pieces..........its true when they say they keep you young, because they sure dont let you sit down much when they are around, its go, go, go all the time.
For many years I enjoyed sewing, somthing that I became interested in Home Ec class at Las Plumas, and sewed for myself, kids, family and friends. It seems that the past several years I have kind of put the sewing machine away and just do small stuff for the time being. I enjoy taking line dancing classes. It is fun and a good way to get some exercising in.
Not as much as I would like........want to travel more in the coming future. Id like to see the east coast, Canada and Europe. I have been on a cruise to Mexico that was wonderful and a trip to Cancun with a group of very funny ladies that made it a very memorable vacation. This past year I went on a cruise to Alaska and never thought Id like to go back but it was such a beautiful place, I would definetly go again if the chance came up. I've been to Hawaii several time and might go again in September with my son and his family My daughter in law in Hawaiian and they are planning on having a family reunion and renewing their vows.
Oh my, there are so many, I like action, drama and of course a good comedy and chic flics. Just rewatched the Da Vinci Code again today and always have a couple of grandkids to take to the show for any action moivies, like India Jones, Batman etc. Tv shows I like CSI, NCIS, Bones, the Mentalist, not into the reality shows.
The Secret
Twilight by Stephen Myer, I will probably read the sequels, I think there are 3 books now.
There is a series of "Sisterhood" Novels that I have read........very easy reading, dont have to think to hard about what it is about.
I usually dont read to heavy have to think to hard literature. I like to read and enjoy and move on.
