When we moved to Oroville in 1966 and I started LP as a sophomore I was not a happy camper. It seemed like forever before I made new friends and it was only about 3 weeks! Carol Blankenship was my first friend.
Riding the rooters bus to games, dances, slumber parties, those giant cinnamon rolls. It was just fun showing up at school every day. Always something new. Favorite teachers were Joe High who I just saw the other day and Mr Perry who made Shakespeare interesting.
Attended Butte College.
Married Mark Huntington 1971.
Worked at Lloyd's bank 5 years.
Daughter was born and got to stay home until she was two.
Divorced in 1980.
Started working at Butte College in 1980 as a Clerk II and retired in 2006 as a Payroll/Benefits Tech. I continue to work a bit in my old office.
Remarried in 1986 and my 2nd daughter was born in 1987.
I played a lot of tennis in my 30's and started golf in my 40's which I continue to play.
Sit Coms. Favorite Food Network program: Barefoot Contessa. CNN, which everyone tells me is too liberal. I'm a registered Republican but hoping the best for Obama.
