Lisa Harris Tolk

I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in English. Then I got a Master's Degree in Political Science from the University of Utah in 1995. I married David Tolk in 1991 and we have four children ranging from 14 yrs. old down to 5 yrs. old. They are a blast! I worked in politics for 13 years as the Controller for the Utah Republican Party doing financial and legal reporting with the Federal Election Commission. I stopped working a year ago to spend more time with my family. I just finished writing a novel, and when I'm not running my kids all over the place, I like to write, read, and run. I guess that's about it!

I liked wrapping Eric Skaufel's old car in tin foil and pretending it was the DeLorean from Back to the Future.

I also liked spitting out chocolate pudding while pretending to be a zombie from "Thriller" during an assembly for spirit week.
