The day that the 1987 Minnesota Twins had their parade in Minneapolis. About 95% of our class went to the parade and Mrs. Schultz was furious that her students had the audacity to skip school, especially her class. For those of us that did show in class, she gave a quiz. Not sure of the point total, but it was high. I think sitting there listening to her tirade was probably the most painful thing to go through other than when I broke my wrist in 3rd grade.
