Susan Barr Harper

Life has kept me in Kansas City. I married Steve who went to SME in 1988. After Meghan was born I was diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis along with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.I have been so very fortunate to be married to an incredible man who has never given up on me and kids who I love more than anything in the world -along with extended family who have supported me throughout the daily ups and downs that come with having a chronic illness and have been so helpful in navigating this thing called life. I am very lucky to be surrounded by so many who care so much. As you all know, Life doesn't always turn out the way we think it will but I wouldn't trade places with anyone!
