Brenda Lee Kent, 53, passed away Jan. 17, 2018 in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 1, 1964 in Sioux City, Iowa. Brenda previously resided in Hornick, Iowa but had been a 42-year resident of Pahrump. She worked at the Pahrump Nugget 15 years. Brenda enjoyed music, jewelry, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Bette Kent. Brenda is survived by her son, Skyler J. Kent Hodges of Pahrump; brothers Ed (Lou) Kent of Santa Rosa, Calif., Steve (Cash) Kent of Pahrump, Kevin (Vicky) Kent of Modesto, Calif.; and sisters Karen Murphy of Hickory Grove, S.C., Rosie (Lyle) Hanks of Hinton, Iowa, Teresa (Wayne) Baron of Ripon, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
