Moved 26 times in our marriage. I have taught jr and sr high school, and jr college (math), and spent over 35 years in manufacturing industry doing accounting and purchasing. To keep my sanity with all the moves and raising my family, I have had my own crafting business for almost 40 years. Terry and I recently purchased a motor home and have started seeing the country--always a dream. For the last 17 years, we have lived in Harpersfield (near Geneva) in a log home we helped to construct.
School Story

I have great memorabilia from school--Logs, banners, an original Beaver from the football games and great memories. Back then, school and activities were our lives and have so many great memories of Friday game nights, bonfires, cheering in good times and not so good ones, and feeling empty once it all ended. We had some amazing teachers, and some really icky ones. We pulled pranks, acted up, but no one got arrested or died--we were lucky I guess!
I always look forward to the reunions and seeing people come back--often with name tags to help identify--but even one long lost face makes me happy.

I was crushed to hear about Janice. So many memories over the years, beginning with  cheering together, classes, "helping" Terry with dating tips, clothes shopping at Bobbie Brooks in Cleveland, fundraisers, lunchtime sales for spirit ribbons and Thursday afternoons painting Beavers for the games and banners to decorate the halls.Even after graduation, whenever she was in town, we met up with all our kids, before reunions and visits home after her parents got older.

I know she wanted to come to the 50th in 2020 because I spoke with her the summer prior when we were out west--even told her she had a bedroom waiting.I called her again later and even emailed her but no reply.Best intentions were to try again for this year, and then we got the returned card for the reunion.

She was one of the classiest ladies I ever knew. Her friendship  was special and her wonderful personality  radiated to everyone around her.Rest in peace my friend, you will be sorely missed.
