After graduating Fremd I went into a sales career and trained horses on the side. Moved to Phoenix in 1980 and started up my own company and sold it in 1992 and moved to Lancaster, PA after my dad died to take care of my mother. I then went into medical sales. Married Jake in 1995. Jake and I moved to Richmond, VA in 1996. I went into the Executive Recruiting business in 1997 and started up my own firm in 2002.

My husband of 24 years passed away, May 20, 2019, unexpectedly from a massive stroke, 3 weeks after he had a major heart attack.

I enjoy riding our horses, and being a business owner, working in my recruiting firm. I am adjusting well to my new life without Jake. Been hard but I always have been an optimist, and my strong faith in Jesus Christ has been my strength.

I came to Fremd the last month of my freshman year. I made good friends. My senior year was my best. I remember when I was one of five nominated for Homecoming Queen and at the assembly they mentioned where each of us worked. Beth and the other gals worked at Woodfield in the finer department stores, and I worked at The Village Pump, pumping gas! Ha! I thought that was pretty humorous.
