Then - The only HS picture I have available. My Dad sent it to me in November '08 after finding it in his desk one day. I was working in China when I received the email, so showed it to some chinese colleagues who couldn't believe it was me. I told them "...well, it's me 35 years ago...", which drew a round of laughter (I'm not sure what they were laughing at though).

Backpacking trip before I left for China back in 2004. Went with a friend we call 'Guru' - a very wise old Indian man. Made for very interesting conversation around the campfire. He and I were also backpacking together on 9/11 so were clueless to what was happening on that day.
