Lyle Zikes

After spending about a decade on the road working for the Professional Bowlers Association I returned to the area in 1990 to assist running Beverly Lanes in Arlington Heights, a bowling center owned by my family.
I also write monthly for Bowlers Journal magazine and every-other-month for a trade publication called Pro Shop Operator.

I remember working on the school newspaper-- The Viking Logue-- my senior year. Some other students apparently felt the paper was too establishment for their tastes and created a rival paper I think they called the Prologue.
The only thing they did better (in my biased opinion) was scoop us on reporting the Harlem Globetrotters would be making an appearance at Fremd.
