Train:
For those of you want a worry-free transportation experience, there is always the option to Uber or train in to Arlington Park Station. It is nice to know there are responsible options other than driving if you want to get a little silly. You would jump on the Metra (Union Pacific/Northwest Line) from the Palatine train station and get off at the Arlington Park Stop. Check out the new Palatine train station - great little Starbucks with an outdoor patio. Directly across from Durty Nellies/Smith Street Station.
- To the Park, take the 710
- Palatine Departure - 11:25 a.m. - Arlington Park Arrival 11:29 a.m.
- From the Park, take the 720 or 724
- Arl. Park Station Departure - 4:25 p.m. - 4:29 p.m. Palatine Arrival
- Arl. Park Station Departure - 6:25 p.m. - 6:29 p.m. Palatine Arrival.
Food:
Coolers that exceed 12"X12"X7" (12 inches long X 12 inches high X 7 inches deep). Or bags that exceed 36" in circumference and not exceed 12" in height will be charged a $5 FEE FOR EACH COOLER OR BAG (If a family has 3 coolers/bags over the limit, they would be charged $15). Any cooler or bag within these limitations will NOT be charged the $5 fee. One complimentary cooler within the above limitations per person. NO glass, alcohol or commercially prepared food will be permitted. I know this sounds silly, but I think they do not want to compete with outside vendors. I do not know how strictly this is enforced, you may want to re-wrap your food if you purchase from a deli or restaurant.
No outside food and beverage permitted inside the building or in the box seats.
Restrooms:
Mr. D's Sports Bar is attached to the main building and is close to our area. They have bathrooms inside
There is an 'out building' nearby where you can place bets, get a drink, and/or use the bathrooms
