School Story:
I was a tomboy and a nature girl ha ha.
I had friends in all 'cliques' and I was secretary of the motocross team.
Kenny Strand and I were best buddies, until I met and started going with Bruce Coletti. I went to Grad Nite all three years with Bruce. Now figure THAT one out!!
I spent my sophmore year attending many motocross races with my Yashica camera from Mr. McKees class taking amazing shots of the motocross stars of thier day. I wouldn't trade one moment of those fun times!!
I also was a Tennis fan, and went to the American Airlines tournament in Indian Wells and got Bjorn Borgs autograph, cos I had a huge crush on him!!! Now I have a huge a crush on Rafael Nadal lol!!!
I could usually be found at Winchells at the Palm Springs mall in the morning having my donut coke and cigarrette. YUCK, HOW COULD I?
I also remember hanging out at the Red Kettle in the mall having french fries in the back with Kurt Marcks and Bill Johnson.
I remember having a superball and bouncing it off the walls in the mall by Penneys. And hanging out in Palm Springs Lanes......I wish my life had been more exciting back then, seems I didn't accomplish anything until waaay AFTER High School lol!
Hiking at Tahquitz Falls, just walking uptown spring break in PS......
Susan Hallock and I were walking uptown and one of the guys we had a crush on who worked at Bojeangles walked by us, and under his breath started to sing the song "Teenyboppers" I was CRUSHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were about 14. And of course Jeff Weiner was always up there lol!!!
And Heidi Stutz and I used to go to Encinitas for a week every summer, and one time we ran into Blair Risnes and Herbie Bayard, and we all had fun riding the waves in this rubber boat they had LOL!! We still love and go to Encinitas all the time!!! I love the ocean and the water!!!!
