Well lets see...I went to UC Santa Barbara for a year, took a year off and worked, then went back for four more years. Graduated with low grades and no ambition for a career. So I bummed around for a bit. I lived in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and back in Palo Alto at different times before going on active duty (was a Reservist) with the US Army in 1991. Got sent to Fairbanks, Alaska where I served for three winters before going to Germany for a year.

Got out when I got tired of the Army after my first divorce and nervous breakdown and stumbled into my Technical Writer profession that I do today. I mainly write manuals and documents that no one reads for a good salary that yet, never seems to accumulate enough money to make me rich. It's tough living in the Bay Area when you have no ambition to do more than enjoy your life! :-)

Main interests these days are pleasing my new wife, playing with our cats, going to Renaissance Faires and swordfighting...especially the swordfighting.

I just got married less than a year ago and I am proud to say I found my life partner at last. Happy life for me these days!

I was the skinny guy with glasses in the center quad, with the boom box who listened to music and suntanned during lunch and fifth period during our senior year. With only four real classes I attended that year (does school service count?) you probably don't remember me that much. Aside from Latin, English and Sociology I really do not remember the year much since I was probably stoned most of the time! (Only a phase till 1982.)

I used to hang around with Chris Piercy, if you remember him...a year or two back from us. He's now an alchoholic business consultant with a Korean wife who still owes me money. Not the type of person I hang with these days. ;-)

Perhaps you remember the nerdish Jewish guy with the red '53 Chevy pickup rattletrap or the small dirt bike. Got rid of both of those, now I drive a Subaru...though it's eleven years old now. (Though it runs well and is paid for!)

Maybe you might remember the communist propaganda spray painted on the center quad one Monday morning...yep that was me too! Can't say it was my finest moment, but heck we were all stupid once...or many times perhaps...I also painted it on every door of the school but the Gunn janitorial staff was effient at removing most of it before Monday. Yep I was stoned then too!

There was a lot of weirdness to me back then...probably still is now. You'll have to decide for yourself when you meet me again.
