School Story
Ugh... Math Science resource center fun?!?! Doing the computer stuff with the usual suspects (all are guilty: Lash, Bradski, Fremont...). Our junior year some of the class of 74 were also playing with the HP 2000. Our senior year the system that almost killed the HP computer division was installed: HP 3000. So very buggy, crashed at least once a day. Bob Lash and I in the PAUSD computer room keeping it and the HP 2000 going. Lots of binary nose wiping and diaper changes for the 3000.
Parker and his shirts made by his wife with no pockets so his writing pens were always 'side loaded'.
Things that current alarm systems don't even allow:
1) The night of swapping Hepworths and Parkers offices then blowing up balloons and filling them to the top. Next day, they were not too happy, Hepworth least happy due to left handedness as I remember so switched them back. Lots of balloons to play with then pop.
2) A little late night library adventure but we were late, not the first through the roof! The skinned cows head on the library's checkout counter was the giveaway.
That's the hit parade. Nothing else very exciting. More later perhaps (as the brain cells allow).
