My wife and I have lived up In the Santa Cruz mountains for 28 years. Love to travel, eat and drink good food. After I graduated from Paly I got into student politics and event management. The politics went nowhere but I got very involved with promoting and producing events. Worked at humbildt state then the Greek theater and finally at the Santa Cruz civic auditorium. At humbildt I started a food company called soy Vay which was Chinese style sauces. I kept growing the company and it became very successful and I ran it virtually by myself with one other person for 30 years. Out of the blue I was made an offer to buy my company over three years ago and I decided to walk away and sell it. I sold soy Vay to the Clorox corporation. And now we spend more time traveling and eating and drinking good food. Love helping out our kids and being with them

School Story

I guess my best memory of play is that I tried to stay under the radar and not get into to much trouble But then a great day for me was when Dede Sweeney asked if I could help get bands for grad night and I ended up helping raise money, secure an off campus venue and get the bands. I ended up working closely with the Wally Porter , the vice principal who I had tried to avoid for three years at Paly. He turned out to be a great guy, and doing this changed my whole direction in life because I continued doing event planning in college and beyond and that's how I also got into Soy Vay!
