From the Pampa News, February 10, 1964:
L.D. Steele died February 8, 1964 of a one-car accident at Denton, TX where he was attending college. He was thrown from the vehicle as it overturned, just outside the city limits.
L.D. was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

LD was my best friend. We met in the 6th grade and did everything together--hunting, fishing, playing golf at the country club, double dating, etc,etc. Our sidekick was Roy B. Webb who has also passed. The three of us were on the PHS golf team
LD I hope your looking down because I am smiling thinking about all the wonderful memories we had together.
