Lora Staiger, 56, of Amarillo died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, Colonial Chapel, in Pampa, with Dr. Delbert White, pastor of Central Park Baptist Church in Carrollton, and the Rev. Charles Lowry, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Staiger was born Sept. 3, 1946, in Memphis. She married Bob Staiger on Jan. 1, 1979, in Pampa. She had been a resident of Amarillo for 24 years. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Virginia Davis; and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David Lewis of San Francisco; a daughter, Michelle Forguson and husband, John, of Amarillo; two stepsons, Dennis Staiger and wife, Jan, of Terrell and David Staiger and wife, Sun So, of Corpus Christi; a brother, Gene Davis of Anchorage, Alaska; 11 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/153262894/lora_jeanette-staiger

Lora was my cousin, her mom and my mom were sisters. She was a year ahead of my thru school, but did not have credits to graduate in 65. She stayed in school and graduated with me in 66.She was on vacation in New Mexico and did not survive car accident.Shirley Hollis (Evans)
