Ardra Jernigan Davis Hutchison, 68, of Pampa, died April 1, 2015, in Pampa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Kyle Ohsfeldt, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Hutchison was born Dec. 9, 1946, in Starks, La. She lived in the Orange, Texas area from her childhood until moving to Pampa at the age of sixteen. She was saved and baptized in a Baptist church in Orange.

She was a 1966 graduate of Pampa High School. Ardra married Phillip Hutchison in 1991 in Pampa. She worked as an operator for Northern Natural Gas in Skellytown for 13 years.

She enjoyed traveling with her family to Las Vegas, Albuquerque and the Florida gulf coast. Ardra’s sons, Shelby and Gary, and her granddaughter, Kerri, were the love of her life.

Ardra was preceded in death by her daughter, Kerri Davis in 1969; a brother, Billy Jernigan in 1975; and her parents, Lillian Jernigan in 1993 and Elton Jernigan in 1995.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip Hutchison of the home; two sons, Shelby Davis and wife Natalie of Canyon, and Gary Davis of Skellytown; stepson, Phillip Mark Hutchison and wife Kim of Amarillo; brother, Patrick Jernigan of Austin; sister, Delia Jernigan of Canyon; granddaughter, Kerri Davis of Canyon; and two step-grandsons, Seth Byrd and Eric Byrd, both of Canyon.
