PAMPA - Johnny Nase Lofton, 61, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with Glen Walton, minister of Bell Avenue Church of Christ in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Lofton was born May 20, 1948, in Pampa. He received a B.S. degree in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University and was an avid Texas Tech alumni supporter.

Survivors include a brother, D.D. Lofton of Pampa; and his stepfather, Richard McDonald of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner St., Pampa, TX 79065.

Lofton and wife Kerry of Pampa; stepfather: Richard McDonald of Amarillo; 3 nieces: Lori Gwaltney and husband Ryan of Opp, Alabama, Michelle Smith and husband Billy of Auburn, Alabama, and Lesli Beasley and husband Nathan of Fort Worth; aunt: Dorothy Gallimore of Pampa; and by several cousins.
