WILBURN,, MARY (SHEWMAKER) 59, of Rowlett, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, October 27, 2007. Mary was born in Pampa, Texas on June 1, 1948 into the family of Ott and Lenice Shewmaker. While living and teaching in New Jersey, she met Dan Wilburn and they were married on December 30, 1977. Dan and Mary called Heritage Church of Christ home, where Dan served as an elder and Mary was a spiritual mentor to many in that family. Previously, they attended Lake Highlands Church for many years. Mary survives in the hearts of her husband, Dan and her children Deanna Price and husband Brandon and Brady Wilburn; mother-in-law, Waneta Dillingham; sister Martha Albert and husband Bill; brothers, John Shewmaker and wife Jan; Jim Shewmaker and wife Charlene; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Mary blessed the lives of all who met her. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Lake Highlands Church at 9919 McCree Road in Dallas.
