Gordon Taylor was this lanky red headed boy in high school. He was fairly quiet in high school. We got to know each other through horses and rodeos. He was a very good horseman. After high school, he was drafted into the Army and served in Viet Nam.
While I was off at college and other travels, he met my cousin, Karla Hollis, and they started to date, and after he came back from Viet Nam, they eventually married. He then became my cousin by marriage. They had two sons.
Then he developed liver cancer and passed away on November 26, 1987. Gordon was such a great Dad for his boys, loved horses, and he loved life.
Shirley, I always liked Gordon. We seemed to like each other without really ever doing anything together. I think I knew him from P.E. class originally. He signed one of my annuals. So sorry he is gone.
