PAMPA - Max Taylor, 56, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Bartel, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the Airborne Rangers in the Army, serving in Vietnam. He was a self-employed welder in Pampa and worked for Rudy's Automotive.

Survivors include a daughter, Valerie O'Brien of Pampa; a son, Robert Taylor of Pampa; his father, Rudy Taylor of Pampa; a sister, Brenda Taylor of Pampa; a brother, Steven Taylor of Heidenheimer; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Divorce Care Group and Youth Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church, 900 E. 23rd St., Pampa, TX 79065.
