Roy Harper, 67, of Skellytown, died April 7, 2015 in Skellytown. Roy was born December 1, 1947 in Paducah.
Survivors include a son of Galveston; two brothers, a sister of Pleasanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Charles Harper.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 11, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Skellytown, with Carter Pirtle, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

I first met Roy in the 2nd grade. Later on in junior high basketball, and finally we played pony league baseball together. Me and Donnie Kidd and Roy and one other had a blast one time riding around in a Volkswagen Beetle. Roy was alway good natured and ready to laugh. If I had known he was living outside of Pampa, I would have looked him up.
