Charles Wesley Clifton

Charles Wesley Clifton, ‘ Charlie’, 67,  of Denver, N.C. passed away on Aug. 13, 2015, at the Sherrills Ford Hospice House. Born on Jan. 9, 1948 in Gray County, Texas, he was the son of the late Jimmie and Keitha Lucille Hill Clifton. Charlie served proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a construction manager at Prestige Corp.

Besides his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother Larry.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Darlene Brown Clifton; daughter Christine Gnocchi, grandson Jacob; brother Brian Mahoney and many extended family members and friends.

Charlie’s funeral was celebrated privately at The Good Samaritan Funeral Home Denver, N.C.
