2018 was a year for me to either remember or want to forget! January 15, 2018 my husband of 37 years passed away. He had been fighting with hear condition for years and it finally was too hard to fight anymore. My world was suddenly changed! The "New Normal" as they call was something I had to find. Thought I was doing well until July of 2018 when they found a small lump in my breast and called it Cancer. Another blow to the heart. Had a lumpectomy in Oct. Radiation in Nov. and all is well. No chemo needed! Just a pill for probably the rest of my life, but at least I still have a life! In August my parathyroid was being an overachiever (something I was never in High School). It had to be taken out and also my thyroid gland due to family history of cancer, this is December 2018! Well, I was able to continue the family tradition with thyroid cancer.! 2019 rolls in and I said good bye to 2018 with a glass of wine!! In February, I needed to have radioactive thyroid treatment! It was completed and all is well! God is good and He was and has been by Savior for many years, but this year, He was my inspiration and "go to" person. He helped me through all of the rough times and also the good times. Life is too short! Take advantage of your good health and try to keep it good. Love your family each day as you never know when it will be your last day! Each day is a gift! Thank you to my classmates who have stood by me through email, facebook and phone calls. You are all the best. I will not be able to attend the 45th class reunion and I am sorry I can't make it, but I know you all will have the best time! Love to you all class of 74!

Nina: Wishing you a great birthday today! Hope you are well and your family is doing well also. Take Care and Happy Birthday!
Patty, Not sure you will see this or not, but wanted to send Happy Birthday wishes to you. Hope you had a terrific birthday and many more to come. If you have retired... I am jealous but enjoy it! If not, I am right there with you! Miss talking to you. Many birthday blessings!
David was a great friend in high school. We spent many hours talking about just about anything. From girl friends to family and children. David ran into some hard times before his untimely death, but prior to that, he found the grace of God to come back into his life. He followed God's word and would help others follow it as well.
I know David LOVED his children. He was just beginning to get back into a positive relationship with his sons. I know David would want his children to know how much he loved them and wants them to be happy and to follow God's love and grace.
I am so very sorry that I lived too far away to continue our long talks in person, but we did continue to communicate through Facebook and email.
David, I miss our talks I miss your cheering FSU on to victory! I miss you my friend, but I know you are at the right hand of God and happy that you reconnected with Him.
God speed my friend. One day we will have our own friend reunion in heaven!
